How A Beauty Industry Entrepreneur Raised Funding With Launch ALLiiANCE Program: 

Client Description: Image By Ila is a beauty services firm located in the Silicon Valley region of California. Image by Ila offers services ranging from permanent make-up to custom eyebrow work, including ayurvedic aesthetic treatments. 

 

In addition, Ila offers consulting and speaking services to promote healthy and more beautiful well-being. Ila is a published author and popular speaking within the alternative medicine and beauty industries.

 

Challenge: Ila's product expertise, skills, and knowledge were in high demand. As a leading authority on Ayurvedic aesthetics, Ila offered leading skin treatments and beauty methods that were often perplexing to (or overlooked by) dermatologists.

Her program to achieve attractiveness and maximize beauty was a featured program at skin care trade shows and had been featured in many industry magazines.  Ila had a unique way of treating people and a thriving skin practice.

However, she needed to raise additional funding in order to open a new office, launch her own line of skin products, and promote her book within the industry. 

A short window of opportunity created a unique time-specific opportunity for ARRiiVE to assist Ila with her dream.

Solution: As part of our LAUNCH ALLiiANCE program, ARRiiVE designed and wrote the business plan for Image By Ila to help her with her SERVICE LAUNCH. The focus of the plan was to describe the  company, products, and services; review the opportunity in terms of market potential; demonstrate the breakeven and future profit expectations of the firm; and examine the competitive landscape within the Beauty Services Industry.

There was an element to writing this plan that added pressure: the location agreement for Ila's practice had to be secured within three business days, which meant funding had to be agreed upon in less than that time. The plan was delivered in two days, meeting the requirement.   Ila presented the plan to create her new company to her investment team the following day and received funding in time to secure her location.

The clarity and vision of the business plan resulted in over 100% of all desired funding being acquired.
